The children go into the mine with a parent, wearing lighted hard hats and carrying a bucket. Once inside the mine, the child then goes looking trough all the nooks and cranies to find colorful shells, stones and fossils. Once they come out with their finds, we help them to identify their treasure, then bag it up for them to take home. We're not sure who enjoys the mine more, the children or the parents.
